Case Study: Front Yard Fence Installation in Duncraig

Fencemakers recently installed an aluminium fence as part of a front yard renovation in Duncraig, a northern Suburb of Perth, WA.

Project Scope

The client’s existing front yard was looking tired and in need of a make-over. As a young family, they also wanted to create a safe and secure area for their children to play in.

There was no existing perimeter wall or fencing, so the client engaged a building contractor to construct a retaining wall. With the front yard exposed to passing cars and foot traffic, and a significant drop on one side of the retaining wall, it was imperative that a fence be installed for security purposes. So, it was time to find a local Perth fencing contractor….

Design Solution

The client contacted Fencemakers to book a free onsite measure and quote.

Within a few days, Sales Rep Steve Martin had met with the client. The brief was clear: we were to install a modern, white fence and side-gate which would be suitable for a children’s play area. The gate needed to be child-proof with an automatic latch.

The client selected a white satin Hampden-style fence and matching swing side-gate from our Standard range.

Made of robust aluminium, with a safety catch on the gate, this would offer a child-friendly and low-maintenance, solution.

The Manufacture

Both the fencing and side-gate were manufactured at our local Malaga workshop.

Because everything was made-to-measure, this meant that there was no wastage – keeping costs down and helping to boost our green credentials.

The Installation

Just two and a half weeks from date the order was placed, the installation was complete.

The installation itself took just a day and because the product was manufactured locally, transport costs were kept to a minimum.
