Our Range of Blade Fences & Gates
- Residential
- Commercial
- Industrial
Our vertical blade fencing and gates are all made to measure by skilled craftsmen in our local Perth workshop.
Our products are available in a huge variety of colours, however, black is the most popular colour for blade fencing.
Our range also caters to all budgets and includes:
The Verge:
This is the cheapest option. The distinct angle blades are hollow, which keeps costs down. However, this does not mean a compromise on quality; the Verge range is still extremely strong. It is manufactured with high-quality materials and components and comes with a 15-year workmanship warranty.
The Toorak:
The Toorak represents our mid-range blade fence panels. The aluminium vertical blades are still hollow (to keep costs down), however they are chunkier which gives them a bolder look.
The Edge:
This is a higher-end blade fencing solution. Featuring solid aluminium fencing blades, the Edge is extra strong and provides an additional level of security.
The Edge is a popular option for commercial and industrial applications and can be found outside many prominent venues around Perth, including Belmont Racecourse.
It is also suitable for areas where there is a higher security risk.
The Solitaire:
The Solitaire is our premium blade fencing product. Featuring solid aluminium blades and an ultra-sleek design, the Solitaire does not have a cross-beam and is commonly known as ‘Solider’ fencing.
Renowned for its unparalleled strength and minimalist aesthetic, the Solitaire stands as a beacon of modern fencing innovation, offering unmatched security and sophistication for discerning property owners.

We also take care to ensure every product we deliver meets the stringent requirements set by local council regulations, to prevent potential headaches or delays your end.

Blade Fencing FAQs
How much does blade fencing cost in Perth?
The cost of blade fencing depends on the height and length of the fence, blade spacing, materials used and whether you need a matching gate.
We offer free on-site consultations and quotations, allowing us to assess your property, discuss your requirements and provide a detailed, obligation-free quote.
Do I need approval to install blade fencing?
In many residential areas, blade fencing can be installed without council approval if it complies with local height limits and planning requirements. As a general guide, front fences are typically subject to lower height restrictions than side or rear boundary fences.
If your property is located on a corner lot, within a heritage precinct, includes retaining walls, or the proposed fence exceeds standard height limits, approval may be required.
Before installation, it’s also important to confirm your property boundaries, particularly when replacing or constructing a dividing fence. If the boundary location is unclear, a licensed land surveyor can help avoid future disputes.
Our team can advise you on the relevant requirements and help ensure your project complies with local regulations.
Is Fencemakers fencing compliant with Australian and WA standards?
Yes. Our blade fencing is manufactured and installed to meet all applicable Australian and WA building requirements where relevant. Whether your project is residential, commercial, or for a strata development, we ensure your fencing is built to the required specifications.
Do you provide a warranty?
Yes. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and offer a 15-year workmanship warranty.
Can blade fencing be installed on sloping or uneven ground?
Yes. Blade fencing can be adapted to suit sloping blocks and uneven terrain. During your site inspection, we’ll recommend the most suitable approach for your property.
Is blade fencing difficult to maintain?
Not at all. Powder-coated aluminium blade fencing is designed to withstand Perth’s climate with minimal upkeep. Unlike timber, it won’t rot, warp, or require regular painting. An occasional wash with water and a mild detergent is generally all that’s needed to keep it looking its best.
