The Interiors Addict profiles the latest renovating tips from popular reality shows The Block and House Rules, and features interviews with renowned interior designers and design book authors for a taste of something different. The site delves into categories like expert tips, house tours, kid’s rooms, furniture, homewares and more. Particularly the ‘renting’ section is great as it offers interior and exterior decorating advice that you can implement even if you don’t own the home. With trending topics each week, it’s the perfect place to get that dose of inspiration.

The Design Files
Melbourne stylist Lucy Feagins has created a design site loaded with fresh ideas and motivation to get the home you’ve always wanted. From Australian homes, to people, shopping, art and garden projects The Design Files is a busy site with lots packed into it.

The Build forum and ‘ask an expert’ categories are ideal if you need some extra help, and the Build blog is packed full of the latest renovation essentials and innovative ideas. The site also allows you to create a profile for free and collect your own ideas in the scrapbook and projects section.

Whilst it’s not as comprehensive as the other sites, Homely’s blog is loaded with oodles of renovating and design inspiration.  From grand designs to home renovation checklists, the blog covers almost everything to prepare you and your home for a fresh change.

Home Life

Homelife 1 is a beautifully designed website with gorgeous visuals and a great breakdown of sections, making it really easy to find the inspiration you’re looking for.

We really like the browsing categories, which are really well thought out. You can browse by area of the home (outdoor, kitchen, bathroom etc.) or by the design style you’re going for (minimalist, colonial, urban etc.) to find exactly the right tips and inspiration for your project.
